This sequential series came from an early school project where 3 random words were blindly chosen and I was instructed to create a book cover. The words I got were "magnificent", "rocket", and "sunshine". I decided to revive the book cover for my senior project and create a couple spreads to go along with it. The rough story is that a little boy sees a shooting star while on a camping trip and doesn't know what it is. He then encounters many different forms of light throughout the woods and his campsite and compares them to what he saw to try and figure out what it was. In the end, he decides that it had to have been a magnificent rocket of sunshine.
